Did anyone watch the Friends episode last night? I got home and the hubby told me they made a sarcastic comment about pagans and their altars, I'm just looking to see if anyone else had seen it.

I saw the rerun they played yesterday... maybe the same one you are talking about...
Rachel and Monica had to go to the hospital because rachel fell taking down the xmas lights. At the hospital Rachel didn't have insurance so they switched names so she could use Monica's insurance. So there are these two cute Dr.s they pick up. Then on the first date Monica and Rachel are in the kitchen talking and the dr.s are saying "these two look normal... I mean, they don't have any pagan altars anywhere..." and they didn't mention it again...
yeah, I found it offensive, but on the other hand I'm proud not to be normal either! :)

Exactly...people have said much worse about Pagans over time, that is something I can just giggle at...
"Hey...we were mentioned on Friends!!"

You have to admit, a Pagan altar isn't exactly a normal (ie. non weird) thing (to mainstream society) to find in an apartment :D

In my experience, most of "normal society" wouldn't know a Pagan altar if they stubbed their toe on it!
(Yes, ours used to be in the livingroom...)
