i need help with a dark entity

a dark entity has latched itself onto my soul, and i was wondering if anyone knew how i can accept it or destroy it.
i probably cant destroy it because it has already merged with me a little bit, but at that point it started to merge i woke up and stopped the process inadvertantly. since then i have been unable to let my guard down and let the process finish.
if anyone knows how i can complete the process please let me know, because it is hindering me from astral travel.

it's probably none of my business, but just out of curiosity, why would you want to accept it? i just want to understand, that's all.

Im not sure what you mean by a dark entity,,but it sounds awfull.

How do you know its dark?

I dont believe spirits can be destroyed.But they can be run off with the help of your gaurdian angels,,they can only control you if you let them.

I will gladly pray for you if you like,,that God will send his angels do help and defend you if you need it.

Just a guess, but maybe to command it by placing it under one's control? Perhaps it could be quite useful.

i want to accept it because if i destroy it, i would also destroy the part of me it is attatched to. it isn't possible to seperate it because it has already merged w/that part of my soul.
I call it dark because it would be more wrong to call it light. but it certainly isn't neutral either.

That is why you need a shaman. A real one. Not some jerk who thinks they're cool into magic and read harner's book once.

If you indeed have an attachment, it can be removed. Think of it like going to the doctor if you notice you have a growth on your stomach.

There are many reasons. All because an entity is dark doesn't mean it is necessarily bad. My ex accepted two such entities. One, I am still 'friends' with. The other hates my guts at this point though it and I were on good terms (there are some that keep it at bay... an interesting story for some other time maybe). However, both have tried to do my ex right... the latter just has a very twisted idea of what is right and wrong... (but again, this is a story for another time, maybe).

You can severe the connection and banish the creature without destroying a part of yourself. I did this for a friend who had one very much imbedded. It was a tough situation that I can explain briefly over PM. (But would have to limit some details obviously.)

Also, if you feel strongly that you have to be rid of it (which I wouldn't blame you), then maybe think of it like an infected wound or a cancer. Sometimes you have to allow some healthy cells to be removed along with the infection/cancer. Sometimes, what's left behind might be damaged or contaminated.

But as others have said, it's good to find someone who knows what they are doing or has a good sense of how to handle things. Do what you feel is best and you will find your answer. And remember that whatever you decide, you will have to deal with the consequences. It's unfortunate, but inevitable.

This is just my belief, but I don't believe in external 'dark' entities. Anything 'dark' (or light for that matter) comes from your own psyche....so, this 'dark entity' is representative of something you have yet to deal with in your life.

Maybe try to work it from that direction?

I don't see how it's insulting unless you first invited it or requested help from it. Besides, not all entities are the type that you want around.

However, you must do what you feel is best. Just be certain that you are willing to deal with the outcome.

I agree, unless you invited it or asked it for help, you shouldn't feel that you're giving any insult by telling it to get lost. And even if you did invite it and then changed your mind, simply apologize but ask it to leave you alone.

oh ok, maybe i just don't understand what is meant by dark entity.. i think of dark and negativity comes to mind, and that's not something i personally would want attached to me in any way...

Well... the one that hates my guts give the feeling of negativity, and in many ways is negative by most people's standards, but very loyal and protective.

They live by different rules than we do and have their own definitions/standards of things. What we consider negative is not always what they consider as negative.

I've learned to view it more like night and day. The night isn't necessarily negative just because it's dark. It just has a different feel to it than the day.

If you don't want to lose this thing then why are you here? You say you need it but you don't want it bonding to your spirit, what if that bond is the only way it will help you? Would you be willing to share yourself for all eternity for something that may seem trivial down the road?

You sound a lot like me when I was younger, whatever it is you need this thing for don't do it. It's not worth it, even if it's to save you life it's not worth it because in the end you will no longer have free will. In this life or the next, you will always have this "dark" entity with you, even if you somehow get rid of it this part of you that is going with it will always be missing.

If it's paralyed, get rid of it. If it's "evil" then screw the getting insulted part. If you are working with it then you get everything you deserve because working with "evil" will only create "evil".

Wow, I'm sorry if I sound so paranoid but I'm tired. I really don't now what I'm talking about anymore in my ramblings.

If its a spirit,,you cant destroy it.

Myself,,I am my own man,and no one,no thing,,no spirit,no entity,will enter my castle,,my little kingdom,and rule it,by attaching itself to me,and ruling me.

I will choose what to do,who to be,and I wont turn myself over to anything ,anyone,,to decide for me,or to control me.
