New studies say that modern Birth Control Pills do not cause weight gain, as was previously thought.

Stands to reason; a pill that makes you think you're pregnant is logically going to make you possibly gain weight and cup sizes.. at least that's how its been for me, regardless of what brand it is.

I've notice I gain a bit of weight when I started the pill... Expecially in the cup size!

I actually have to buy new bra's every few months..

went from 36C to 40DD and still going agh

I havent gained any weight or had any side effects, so far....well, maybe a wee bit, but I think that was just all the chocolate from Easter! hehe! I looove Cadbury's!! The thing that freeks me out most is the amount of blood clots etc. that is caused by the pill. As soon as I went on it I remember there was this article on the front page of the paper saying that they had found certain types of the pill to cause large amounts of blood clots and that people should stop taking it, wasnt a very nice sign for starting on the pill!

Yes..certain birth control pills can put you at risk for blood clots. Especially if you are a smoker. You should always ask your doctor to tell you the possible side effects of any birthcontrol pill that you start using.
