No. . . power is measured in energy released per unit of time, so you'd have to practice releasing large amounts of energy at once to become more powerful. :nyah:

Seriously, learning more just makes you more learned.

Ah, well, not in my experience. Majick is based mainly on faith. . . the stronger your faith in yourself and your god(s), the more likely your majick will work.

Of course, that's no guarantee. After all, the gods can and do say, "No." And even when they say "yes," you'll almost always have to do work in more mundane ways if you want to see results.

Magick is Will and Focus. Desire and Consciousness. A very unlearned person, can be very powerful. Or ancient ancestors, for instance, probably weren't incredibly learned by OUR standards...since they didn't have books. Heh. Yet I'm sure that they were very "powerful" magicians. The truth is, knowledge helps. Knowledge is important, yes. But...the other things, desire, and focus, are also needed. We don't live in ancient times, so we have the luxury of books, and literature. Since most of us do not have "teachers" to pass magickal knowledge down to us, as they did in clans/tribes of differen't cultures..we need the books. But..it is knowledge, energy, focus, and will, together, that makes up a good magician :)

The more you *understand*, the more powerful you are. It isn't something you can read in a book, though if you read more books you will understand more. You can read all you want, too, but then if you don't understand any of it, or yourself, or about life, it won't help.
