Chinese Astrology

I've found this more accurate for me than traditional western astrology.

In fact I was just looking up my chart and found that I'm in my lowest luck period! :lol: Boy, does it ever feel like it!

Anyone familiar with Chinese astrology? Like it, hate it?

Those weren't the site I looked at over a year ago, hmmmm.

I believe that granddaughter Katlin and I are both Metal Tigers, my daughter and son-in-law are both Water Oxen, and granddaughter Nove 'Mber and my AlmostEx (the ButtHead) are both Water Snakes. So I hope and pray that my granddaughters get along better than my AlmostEx and I ever did. :T

I'm a Black Water Dog and my niece is a Dragon. We get along most of the time but she can really make me mad sometimes. Dragons are just too confrontational!

I haven't been able to find a site that explain's all the how's, why's and what for's on Chinese Astrology. :(

I can find info like that on the Western Zodiac online, even though I still find it slightly confusing.

Guess I'll have to shell out the money for a good book on it.

Look up Four Pillars as this is specific to the type of Chinese study it seems you're discussing here...it takes quite a lot of study under a Master. Very interesting stuff indeed.

I received a Feng Shui grid (the complex ones) from a friend for my birthday last year, so in order to use it I had to do my chinese astrology. I bought the books Encyclopedia of Chinese Astrology, The I-Ching, and the Principals of Feng Shui - I now, a bit overboard!

The Chinese Astrology has always been accurate for me. My husband and I are very into it. We are the highly compatible Dragon and Rat. We even went so far as planning our attempts at children for compatible signs. The Goat or Monkey child would be good for us because of the adult/child interaction. So we can have a child within the next two years, then we have to wait a few years for another compatible year to circle around. We're wierdo's. I know it.

So, I have a question. Can people follow European astrology and Chinese astrology when wanting to know about people? I really like this guy. Reading Chinese astrology, we are extremely compatible. Although the Western Zodiac suggests that we are compatible, it says that we aren't as strongly connected as the Chinese zodiac. Do I overlook these discrepencies?

when you mention that Western astology doesn't show the strength of caompatibility evidenced by Chinese methods, are you talking about synastric comparison, a Davidson composite or just Sun Sign astrology?
