*smiles* At the moment, my altar (a low dark brown chest) has a cream colored handkerchief on it with a green leaf in the corner.
Two brass statues...of Kali and Hanuman sit in the middle. A red wineglass....a copper bowl with OM in brass on it filled with polished stones, a small oil lamp, incense holder, and a copper handled curved knife I picked up the other day.

As well as a few more personal items.

*smiles* When I have a house with a mantle again, I'm going to do a more seasonal altar there.

annnnd...

right now I don't really have a set altar per se. I tend to take the tools I need and do a circle on my living room floor, but in general most of them are on my bookshelves with my supplies, or on my entertainment center. I also have a besom I'd like to put up somewhere. I like to do simple little altars - like one time I had one that was composed of just a gold candle, a silver candle, and a bowl of potpourri, right by my computer. I want to get a wall shelf and put it up above my desk and make an altar there. I should also clean off my entertainment center and make up an altar. Sometimes there's an altar on the shelf in my bedroom too. The problem is finding space where the cat can't get up :)

Well..here's the altar I did for Yule. The only thing that is differen't now, is that I don't have the evergreens, and poinsettias, nor the little glass creche' (I put that on my altar to represent the God and Goddess, and the newborn Sun, this year). Now...there are some other little doodads, a new incense burner, a blue glass box with the sun and moon on it, and instead of the poinsettias, a potted tulip, and a couple of painted eggs :)

I'm not sure what mine is... It's wooden, kinda loosely held together with nails.. Looks like it may have had some kind of sliding drawer in it or something.

*smiles* I can't get it to work on this computer.
But when I get home I'll post the pic of my youngest cat sleeping on my altar last summer.
*grins* I think it was the Bast statue that did it.

*dances* Yay! I finally got it to work!

Wanderer~ I think our cats are related! (Mine looks just like that)

Right now I'm using a box that my bro made me in woodwork class... And I'm not sure what I have on it right now. :eyebrow: Some eggs & incense, I think. :P
