Labor energy

I have been contracting,but not enough to dilate. I am having severe back pains though. Could any of you spare any energy for a quick delivery. I dont feel like it's ever going to be over. Im in pain,but am not getting anywhere.

Thank You, Shalaye and everyone else! :) Unfornately the contractions have stalled,but my back pains did go away today. They have just been severe,and it's hard to tell whether it's time or not. I know it wont be much longer though. Hopefully when i do go into labor it goes quick/smoothly. These backpains have been excrutiating when i have them. :hugz:

Your pains may just be him doing the final moving into position for birth. Many people have false labor pains and the doctors usually attribute them to this explanation. I can sympathize with the type of back pain you were feeling all too well.

Why is it that the last couple of months stretch on to forever?? I didn't have back labor with any of the 4 I had but being a mom I sure do sympathize with you!! Glad to hear the pain has let up some but hopefully next time it starts up will be IT. :D Will keep you in my thoughts till he's here. :hugz:

Thanks :) I know I've only got 2 1/2 weeks to go,so he should be here in no time. :) That makes sense about him moving into position.
I have an u/s tomorrow to see how big he is and also to check the amniotic fluid levels. Maybe they'll know more then and see if he's in position. :hugz:

Thank You so much! :) I have a feeling I may end up being induced. Things just dont seem to be going anywhere. I had a few contractions last night, but they didnt last. It's so frustrating! I think it's starting,and then nothing the rest of the day/night.
Keep the energy coming! I can definitely use it,as I seem to not have alot lately to do much of anything. My 4 yr old doesnt understandd why Im so tired either. :hugz:

I've had a cold,and he's still in there! I think he's enjoying all the food i've eaten. I've tried coaxing him out though, promising there will be more yummy food if he will just come out ! :lol:
