View Full Version : Tonite, I cured a skeptic...

I just had to share this!

Tonite I was at a dinner party at my neighbor's house. The usual happened, women in one room--men in the other. After a LOT of wine, somehow the subject of card readings came up. My neighbor looked at me and asked me to run back to my house and get a deck of my cards so that we could do some readings.

I obliged and the readings began. I read for all of the women and even had a little help. Turns out, one of the other women there is also Wiccan! (WE ARE EVERYWHERE!!!)

Well, after all of the other guys went home, the 'gentleman' of the house asked me to do his cards. Now you must understand--he was making fun of us all nite and kept saying that reading cards is a load of crap, etc.....

Sooooooo, I threw down his cards, gave him a reading and when I looked up--his eyes were bugged and all he kept saying over and over again was, "How in the hell did you know all of that???!!!" LOLOL

He was completely freaked out and yet he was very psyched about it! (He was also very happy about what I had told him.)

I LOVE it when this happens! He was truly a tough nut to crack to but I think he has converted to an open-minded individual!!! LOL

So basically, I just had to share!

Thank you! I give him credit for at least having a reading--the other guys all chickened out! LOL

I just wish I had a camera for his face--I've never seen anyone's eyes get that big before! :bug:

Really big--especially when I told him he was gay!

....that's cruel!!! But funny, really funny!!!

Well done Witchychick - it takes some courage to read in front of a crowd. I can't do it - it has to be one on one for me to get anything!

Thanks Nina. I usually can't do the 'crowd' thing either--but like I said--there was a LOT of wine involved! LOL

(I honestly still don't know how we even got on the subject of card reading to begin with!) :ugh:

Congratulations!

I wonder if the other guys will get ahold of you in the future? ....just to see what the cards have to say! lol I'm sure the girls will get the word out too! lol You just might get swamped one of these days! lol
