another humorous " blonde action" (of the many i am known for; what can i say? i am a sagittarius, we are known for our klutzy abilities.) i woke up @1:30 am, last night, to feed my craving for grapejuice. i live in a town house, and for some unknown reason, my landlord had decided when building this place to add longer, slicker carpet on only the stair case. (i wonder if he hasn't hidden a camera somewhere for entertainment purposes- ya know, like candid camera?)
anyway, i am (eyes half closed, tongue sticking to the roof of my mouth) approaching the first step, and whoof!
the foot slips out from underneath me, land on my hip, and continue sliding down the full staircase, turn and all!
my boyfriend who was sleeping heard only- ah thump
ah, thump ah thump ( i was attempting to yell ahhh)
and so he came running out to find me still on my (now bruised ) butt. "honey, are you o.k.?" OOOOWWW!
laughing what was now left of my butt off, i went and got the stupid juice. and crawled my sore butt back up to bed.
i think that was the best stop, drop, and bounce, my body has accomplished yet! just thought that was anouther funny to add to the jalapeno peppers

A while ago, while out bike-riding, I looked over my
left shoulder before changing lanes, and then a
parked car ran into me. ;) I flipped up and came
down partially on the car roof, and my momentum
skidded me down the blacktop about 2 feet.
The bike survived without a scratch.

I have had parked cars run into me while walking thru parking lots and looking elsewhere. Parked cars, doors, treelimbs, all of those things have just run right into me. But the parked cars were the worst, they sneak up on you, ;)

And don't you just love glass doors? You want to push when you should pull, or pull when you should push, and then sometimes someone likes to pull the cruel joke and have one door still locked and the other one not. Then some aren't pull or push, but SLIDE. I think they do this as sort of a conspericy and have those cameras hidden just so they can watch people walk smack into the doors and feel foolish.

parked cars, glass doors, trees and telephone poles that jump into your path, that's why the gods made hand grenades and claymore mines.
just be sure to point the side with the arrow towards the target area. and PULL the pin,THROW the grenade! do not mix these up!

Oh, you meant throw the grenade! :bigredgri
gunner, ever heard this one? :D
Trooper: "Sarge, what does 'FOS-FER-US' mean?"
Sarge: "Run like #@((, NOW!"
I was close enough to hear this conversation and ran in the same direction they did and jumped into a pond! I only had to run about 15 feet, but I RAN!
BTW it had just rained like crazy and there were catch ponds all over the range. The farm boy that threw that put it in the middle of another pond ... whew!

That one has a scare all it's own, but somehow I don't mind. If they are the tiny feet I am thinking of they can have huge smiles.
I don't think about the other small feet.
