Even though it's a bastardized rip off of a pagan holiday honoring the rites of spring, fertility, etc., I say Happy Easter to all! Go sniff a flower and daydream for a while.
As for me? The complex throws a hunt for the kids each year and I get to go put out 100 dozen easter eggs and start a rumour amongst the kids as to the REAL start of this holiday. ( This is my Monday) Hehehehe. :elf::2G: :bigredgri :nyah:
Peace,
Twig

My birdie's name is Egg-girl, she considers it her own personal holiday! (We just don't eat eggs around her!) :ack:

In the UK today in our local pub, we have an "eggjarping contest" Every one buys a hard boiled egg, the money goes to charity, then we try to crack our opponents egg with the pointy bit of our own! The winner is the one left with an intact egg!
Reading that sounds weird! but with a few pints of beer inside you, it seems a normal way to spend a monday lunchtime
In case anyone is interested, a decorated hard boiled egg is called a "paste egg"
