I'm so excited. Today is gotta be one of my most FAVORITE days of the year. For me, it's officially Spring.

I thought the Vernal Equinox was what made it "officially spring"? 'Course, I typically celebrate Candlemas as the first day of spring--following the theory that, in order to pick flowers in March, you have to sow seeds in February.

See, we all have different days that's "officially Spring" :D

When I was in college, I played Softball (of course) and it April. The weather was so screwy up there, the unofficial motto of town was "Welcome to Cobleskill, you don't like the weather, Wait a minute" :lol: Anyhoo, my Mom & kid brother had traveled the 2 hourse to check out one of my games and it snowed, rained, & sleeted during the whole time. Meanwhile, the day before it was 70 out!!!!! Freaky stuff.

But I don't care, cause it's Baseball Season. From now to October I'm a happy little camper.

i`ve never really watched sports before but i think my grandma likes baseball and any reason to say its spring now is a good thing not that i don`t like winter but spring means swimming time is here :)

I was born on the day of the baseball season opener (April 6th 1987, 5 days away people!).
Jesse better let the Twins have their new stadium tho. The meterodome is a dump. Make it more like the Xcel or something.
Also the year I was born the Twins won the world series. Coincidence? I think not. ;)

The Metrodome DOES suck. I saw a Twins game there, and I never want to go back. :( Blah...indoor..just NOT the same. We need a Minnesota version of Wrigley field! o.o!

I like hockey, skiing and figure skating best but I tend to watch more baseball. This time of year means that if the tv is on, it's on baseball!

bah...I stopped watching baseball after the last strike that cancelled a world series... it just makes me sick
a bunch of grown men getting paid extremely well just to play a game go on strike because they aren't getting paid enough

the minimum wage for the loser that sits the bench all season is more than the president of the united states makes...the leader of the free world gets paid less than a bunch of people who play a game for a living... whatever
I'm happy that you like baseball that much, but not me...
