At 9pm EST tonight they're doing a special on Abrahamic religons and Egyptian religon and culture on the History Channel. Heard it on the radio and I thought I'd let everyone know! :D

It's called "Egypt: Land of the Gods"

I saw the commercial for it last night on Discovery. It looked great. I would love to be able to see it but we don't have History Channel. Boo hoo!

Well, those of us without cable are just out of luck, I guess!

(My TV is so old, there'd be no point in paying $30/mo for cable. By the time we got through with the adapters & screws, the picture would still be lousy.)

I had TiVo record it, and am watching it right now. Very good show. I like how they compare major religions to that of ancient Egypt.

speaking of TiVo, can you really fast forward the commercials on it, or fastforward to a show in an hour or something?

Only if you have that amount of time saved up. If you paused it for an hour, you can fast forward it for an hour. It can't go faster then live TV.
