My eyesight

There is something wrong, & I don't know what it is. Not yet, anyway. I had started to see some bright, sharp lights - increasingly so over time - in my right eye, sometime year-before-last. Finally, I was sent to a specialist & had to have a tear in my retina repaired via laser (OUCHOUCHOUCHOUCH!!!!! :( :( :( )

Well, you see - the thing is, those lights never went away entirely. The specialist said that I might see some, that for some people they don't go away. But the lights (they are in both my eyes now, somewhat different from the one I was seeing with the retinal tear but very similar) have become much worse over the past couple of weeks. Right now I am not home, I am visiting my sister; I have to see my eye doctor as soon as I get home. But I am in suspense.

I am an artist & if anything compromised my vision, I just don't know what I'd do.... :sadman:

I really do dread going blind. To me, it's serious. I can't imagine life without sight - or being able to do my life's work.

Many :hugz:! I have crap eyesight as well and it drives me batty. Hopefully this will get better with time??

Aw, thank you - I think that the doc will prolly have to fix somethin'-or-other. But I hope that it isn't going to be an ongoing problem!

A friend said I should get the pressure V'd & see if there might be blood where there shouldn't be as a result of my surgery. Well, by sometime early Feb. I should at least be out of suspense!
