Were they any good, did you ever doubt them? Even if they were good?

The two actual mediums I have spoken to have concurred about general political trends which I am still waiting to manifest before I can participate in what I really want to do, but since it often costs upwards of £50 for a consultation (plus travel and overnight hotel for one of them) I haven't been for a while! Also when I speak to these two over the phone I feel I have to buy them a gift for their time, so I try to ration when or where I call them.
I do have some spiritual guidance from a local healer who does Jiu-Shin-Jitsu (and felt a spirit presence on her couch once, assisting her) but she is not into giving psychic readings. She did say that she is only clairsentient and could feel I had some sort of a gift, but most of the "consulting" we do is verbal and non-psychic; she sometimes acts as a go-between between me and my parents.

I will never go to psychic. Most of them don't have any psychic intuition. It's more about the :money:

I don't because I've used free psychics a lot from www.allexperts.com it used to have a psychic forum and I've used free services here. And sometimes I felt like those people didn't know.

None, if you mean professional psychics. I've had readings done by skilled friends and witches.

I use those Angel Whispers text line thingies (ie "text ANGEL to ***** and your question...) a lot but they are often rather vague; often also dispensing advice like "go into nature..." when I ask about effecting a change or how I could best get the energies circulating. (Proves there was a human on the other end anyway.) However I think you need to phrase your questions quite well with those things, and when I reach for the SMSs I am really in too desperate a mood to phrase it well, so I suppose they're OK really.

My best friend is a professional reader. I often go to psychic faires that she works and help her out by refereeing her appointment schedule. I do end up with a lot of time to wander around the rest of the faire, and usually get a reading or two done, so I've had the opportunity to see a dozen or more readers over the years, as well as watch quite a few of them work. I've had everything from tarot readings, tea leaf readings, hair readings, and African Bone readings done. I also read professionally, but non consistently. Some of them are good, some bad, and some indifferent. Like any profession, some folks are better and more connected than others. About the best reading was from a young lady who wasn't as confident of her skills as some of the others, but her accuracy was dead-on, even if she didn't realize the relevance of the messages that she was getting.

Hmmm, I usually do tarot readings for myself and I read other people's palms. I've never paid money for a reading, I've had friends do them for me, but obviously they were biased from knowing me... One of these days I may go see a psychic just to see if they can tell me something I don't already know. There are some things that I don't do readings for, for example I dont want to know about love or if I will ever break up with partner, I like my happy bubble of not knowing the future on that one...

Hair reading? How is that done and for what purpose?

One and she was okay, she hit some points but if you think about it, it was vague enough to work with.

I have had a ton of online readings but I have only actually been to ONE psychic and had a palm reading a few years ago! I do plan on going back soon.

I do my own readings generally using Tarot, playing cards, and/or astrology. I have gone to so-called psychics, but did not tell them that I was a practitioner (much less a Witch). I have only ever met two "psychics" whom I believe were genuine--the rest, I'm convinced, were fakes.

I chose “other” because I do my own Tarot and oracle deck readings as well. Have never paid for the services of a “professional psychic” before and never will.
Not that I consider myself particularly psychic, mind you, but what abilities I do have are more than enough to find out for myself anything I could possibly need to know about.

Have seen a few tarot readers who were all good (all on reccomendation) but the most impressive reading I ever had was from a palmist. She was awesome (although being a palmist the reading was all about myself, no past or future stuff)

I have had free online readings from friends but I would never pay someone for a reading. I just don't trust those people. One reading I got from a friend was right on, and I was impressed.

I've only ever been to one, the man who runs the Enchanted Hourglass store. He uses an interesting deck of cards, one he created himself. It was really an impulsive thing, I'm not sure why I decided to ask for a reading, but I did. That was back in December, and I'm seeing alot of the things he saw coming to light now.
