What stones would work for the benefit of plants, like for growth, to prevent illness, ect?

Moss agate is one. aother method is to stick four small quartz crystals in the soil in each of the four main directions.

Tourmaline (black tourmaline is ok for price, I think the other varieties can be quite expensive). Works best buried apparently.

I find clear quartz, citrine and black tourmaline to be effective in warding off illnees and evil for plant protection.

Instinctively I would suggest clear quartz.

Alot would depend on the plant and what it needs. I work with both stones and plants/herbs. If something is laking you can find a stone that will help boost but you are better looking at soil and planting companions if you have a real problem.
Now to help the plant spirit I would say and clear quarzt would be good if it Feels right for the plant. I also like bloodstone as a helper since it is a purifier and gives iron.

From The Crystal Bible (Judy Hall)....
"tourmaline has a strong affinity with the devic energies and is extremely beneficial for the garden and plants. It can act as a natural insecticide, keeping pests at bay, and buried in the soil, encourages the growth and health of all crops"
Intuition suggests clear quartz, but she doesnt mention it in relation to plants (she says Lithium Quartz is good, also Dendritic Agate (tree agate), and boji stones (may disintegrate if left outside!)
I dont think I've ever seen lithium quartz or tree agate for sale, and i reckon boji stones would be a bit of a waste (especially if they dissolve!). I do have a piece of black tourmaline (also known as schorl) which I bought as a gift for my spider plant, the only plant I have. But that was back in Autumn, so all the leaves have fallen off anyway. I'm rambling now, sorry
