Have any of you writers out there ever used a short story as a focal point in your spellwork or rituals? As in where the ending is the end goal that you wish to achieve and the plot is used as the means to achieve that end? Let me know if you want me to clarify something!

What a cool idea! Finding the right prewritten story would be challenging. But writing one would be powerful. The whole process could be part of the spell work. Reading it aloud to have the end be the spell's release... cool. I hope people answer this post!

I think you are saying writing a story as your spell- I'm not a writer (can't even spell 1/2 the time) but I have donte the same thing with a painting- painting what I wished to see-

Once I was looking for a new job, better house, ect.
I sat down with a little canvas and painted an image of Ganesha- in a ritual setting- and within 3 days I had a new, better job (in a new field, even- I slaved away as a chef for 20 years, now I do maitenence at a hotel) with benneys, and a home on my own for the first time.

My Wife and I used to always makea list of what we wanted in a home when we needed to move- and we would find that house when we wntto look!
