I've been writing my own spells and modifying others to fit me.
Is this ok or is there somthing wrong with doing what I'm doing?

Why wouldn't it be ok? :D :p

It's actually a very common belief that it's BETTER to write your own or modify others, because then you're using your own correspondences and that helps you focus your energy better. Most books say that. :)

To clarify..

Spells are based on intent and focus. You use correspondences, also known as mind keys, to help you focus on an intent. So, if you're using someone else's spell with *their* correspondences it won't work - they might, say, associate yellow with friendship while you associate pink with friendship. Or they associate citrine with friendship and you associate rose quartz with friendship. So if you used the yellow and the citrine, it wouldn't help your mind focus on your intent, because they don't remind you of your intent.

So, it's *always* best to use your own spells or modify others with your own mind keys. Those kind of spells will always work better.

There are very few Discordian rituals... it is up to each of us to create our own. I have been very successful with the ones I have made.
