LOL...
Well, as you all know my Jr. prom was last night...more on that later seeing as it was wild and crazy and a LONG story. But I was talking to my bf as we were dancing and he mentioned that a friend of his who goes to another school had asked him to her prom. Its no secret that he's had a bit of a thing for this girl since the 6th grade. He turned her down nicely telling her that he'd like to, but he had a girlfriend. A couple of months ago we came to an agreement that since we go to different schools and normally only see each other once a week that it would be okay if we went out with other people as noncommitted friends on the side as well. So when he told me this, my jaw sort of mentally dropped. He could have very well said yes and not have made me angry (a little miffed and pouty, maybe since her prom is next Saturday, the same day as Bandfest but I'd have got over it...I'm just like that) as this was per our previous agreement, which was started on his initiative anyway. Not that I'm arguing with it, I'm just surprised. He could have very well said yes...he even said he wanted to and sort of kicked himself for having not afterward, but still...he didn't. He probably has no idea how much that meant to me...in fact when I hugged him he looked a little confused as to why, LOL. Then again, its always the little obscure things that he does that make me want to smile bigger than my face will let me, and I don't even think he realises that he does them.
