My husband was admitted into the hospital last night. He's had a bad cough. We thought he just had a cold. Then yesterday he started coughing up blood,so I took him to the ER.
They did bloodwork and x-rays, CT scan.
They think he has Tuberculerosis! or Necrotizing pneumonia, which is an infection that can eat away at the lung tissue. Thankfully the dr said their both treatable, but were all still really upset over this.
My husband is normally the strong one,and now he is an emotional wreck. crying off and on. He feels he caused this tom himself and our family.
On top of this we found out that his work failed miserably on the state health inspection. He works at a jail,so any of the inmates could have given it to him.
I still have to read the article about his work. Someone leaked it to the press, and now it's in the paper.
All the energy you can muster is greatly appreiciated!

Hugs Dream,
You sure to get a lot of rough patches sweetie, I send you as much healing energy as possible (well for your hubby). The rest of your household as well though so that you do not get this. I hope it is properly diagnosed and treated quickly so he feels better.

Thanks Everyone :) We are hanging in there and just waiting for all the tests to come back and see what the dr's have to do next to get him better.
We are working on workmans comp for him as he'll be out for atleast a week. I also have contacted a lawyer to see what I should do. I know that he got sick from his work. They found mold in the heating ventilation! If the air quality was poor, then either illness I would think could easily be passed on.
My father in law is going to wire us some money to help us out until he is better.
I still cant believe this is happening. It's hard to see my husband like this. He begged me to take him home. he told me to pull the car around, and he'd be out in 2 mins. I know he wants to be home, but we cant get our children sick.
It's bad enough we all will have to be tested, and since I have the most contact with him ; I am also more at risk of getting tb.
:hugz: to all of you.

p.s- Thats the article about his work.

I am sorry about your family, gosh you have had a terrible year. I will include you in the healing spell that I am going to be performing tonight, I hope it helps. I have a friend whos brother is in the hospital now and not doing so well. It is his second time dealing with Colo-rectal cancer, and had to have a perminate colostomy bag put on him. Just the other night I found out that they were messing with his heart medication and is now going down hill. Because of the hospital playing with his heart meds he has cardio-pulminary adema. She stays by his bedside as long as she can. They moved him from Surgical ICU to the General ICU, we are hoping and praying and casting all the helpful healing spells we can every day.

Thanks everyone! I think the energy has helped alot. He doesnt have tb, it came back negative. his doctor thinks its either a staph infection or the pneumonia. he has a cavity legion in the right middle lobe of his lung and a small absess.
we think he got sick from his work. if he has pneumonia it will be harder to prove. other people are getting sick there though.
i will post again when know more..

Thanks everyone for the energy and support! :) He is doing MUCH better. :) He has to go in for daily Iv medications for 2 weeks. We are also meeting with a lawyer on monday to see if he can help us. Another co-worker of my husbands has also just gotten over pneumonia and she's younger than he is. He's 31. Kind of young to get pneumonia.
Plus we know his work conditions are poor. They also have alot of broken windows which they refuse to fix. They boarded them up with plywood, but I know that alone wont keep the cold air out.
The doctor sent out a sputnum test ,which we are waiting for the results of. It will determine what type bacteria caused his infection.
I did read online that staphacoccos can cause necrotizing pneumonia, but not sure if it caused his infection. The lawyer asked if they tested the mold in the jail, which they havent.
My husbands father is insisting we sue. He keeps calling each night to see if what we've done. He's ready to come out and help us if we dont.
