My (Charlotte) birthday is on June, 2, 1984 born at roughly 5pm in Southmead, Bristol UK.

My (Adrian) boyfriend is on February, 2, 1981, don't know what time but in Southmead, Bristol UK too.

I really wanted to know how connected we are together. My mum is born on the same date (not same year(!) she is 1949) I have already been with him for about a year and a half and wanted to know if we will be together for a long time because I love him so much.

Thanks everyone, xx

With an unknown birth time for Adrian, this may not be entirely accurate, but I can give you a general interpretation of your relationship.

The first two things I noticed was that you have both your Suns and Junos trine each other. The Sun is one’s inner, true self while Juno shows the type of person we ending up marrying. A trine is an aspect that shows easy relations and the ability to pretty much complete each other sentences. Yet you are each able to retain your own individuality. You’re alike enough to get along, but not so much that you seem like one brain in two bodies. This is an excellent indicator of friendship, but also those friendships that lead to romance. The element of the Sun, which in this case is Air (Gemini and Aquarius are your Sun signs), tells me that while you have a deep connection it isn’t based on emotions or hot and heavy passion as much as a respect for each other’s minds and intelligence. You would both enjoy going on long vacations. You have a need for a constant travel companion with whom to share your active minds. In fact, you may have met while on vacation or otherwise away from home.

I also look to the Moon (emotions), Mercury (communications style), Venus (values) and Mars (passion) placements in a synastry chart too. There are quite a few more indicators of attraction to be found here too. No wonder you said you felt deeply connected. Let’s start with Venus trine Sun. While you are content with each other, watch that the negative side of Venus doesn’t come out – that would be laziness. Without conflict there is no growth. This isn’t a license to pick fights with each other. The Sun person (Adrian) will take the “male” role in the relationship regardless of gender, and will orient toward his needs. Ask for what you need too. You enjoy each other's company and have plenty of fun together. There is a good emotional connection and you often encourage each other in your pursuits. Next is Sun square Mars. You guys can really get into a flaming row. This is one of the most difficult comparative combinations because it produces violent conflicts and disagreements, although it also tends to indicate an attraction as well. Adrian has to work on humility and you have to work on patience and BOTH of you have to work on compromise. Often, your ideas are at odds with what Adrian thinks is a good course of action. Debate and argument are a frequent result. If this relationship is going to work, there needs to be a lot of room for compromise. In this relationship, arguments always seem to turn into ego threats. It's hard for you to communicate with each other in a calm, rational way and find solutions to your problems. Try anyway. You may be able to turn this energy into competing with each other rather than fighting. This is a hard one to work with because even when you do control it, you may both feel nervous and ill at ease with each other. Whatever you do, consciously strive to refrain from impulsive reactions.

Looking at other Sun aspects, your Sun is trine his Saturn. This indicates this is (will be) a long lasting relationship. Sun/Saturn relationships really hate to change on a whim. This will grant a tone of stability and may work to reduce the hostility that can arise in a Sun/Mars square. Taken alone it does not indicate a romantic relationship, but with such other aspects as you have, this aspect increases the stability and the durability. You have a sense of mutual respect and just dealing with one another and you can count on each other's constant support. Thus, it is considered an ideal aspect for marriage, as well as friendship.

So I think while the road may be bumpy, you guys have the potential to be sweeties for many years to come! :)
