Need a favor- tattoo ideas/graphic, please.

I hate to ask this, but I need some help either designing a tattoo or helping me find a picture on the net. If anyone can help me out, I would be so grateful.

I am getting my belly button tattooed- the appointment is tomorrow. I had wanted a moon with a fairy inside but when I showed the picture to the artist , he said no way could he do it, it was too detailed for such a small area. That makes sense and I am glad he was honest. (And now I know what to get next time- a large fairy on my shoulder LOL). Anyway, I looked at all the flash and saw a few that I liked, but I really want something that means something to me- not just something picked off the wall. I came up with an idea of a crescent moon with either a pink rosebud wrapped around, or a garland of jasmine blossoms in the shape of the moon. I have been searching all over the net for a picture of it or flash and am coming up with nothing. I am a sucky searcher. :p

I know the people in the avatar thread have made some beautiful pictures. Would someone be able to help me out? I understand if you can't though. :)

And does anyone have their bellybutton tattoed? The guy said it hurts the worst of all places. I didn't know that! And I eventually (tomorrow??) would like my bellybutton pierced- would I be able to get that done at the same time?

I just got the small of my back tattooed in December, and it hurt a lot. I'm not gonna lie... but I am so glad I did it! I love it!

Are you sure what you are thinking of isn't again, too detailed???

I wouldn't do bothat the same time.. fromthe tattoo you will... for lack of a better word.. ooze water (from your body) and ink downwards, and if that gets into the new piercing it will cause an infection. I'd wait for a month till the tattoo has full healed, then get the piercing.

Ahh, forgot about that :) Not really, since why I want to get it done now is so I can wear baggy pants and a long shirt for the first day or so while it heals. And gotta check the exp date on my bacitracin... I was just not connecting the two things being done. Thanks for mentioning that.

This will be my 4th tat. I always heard the lower back and inside of the upper arm hurt the worst. I have an armband that goes all the way around and that didn't bother me at all. So hopefully this one won't hurt too much. Oh and I had two kids, no drugs at all, so I think I have an ok pain tolerance. But would someone come hold my hand, just in case!:blushake: :lol:
