It all started week before last. Alex started getting sick. We thought maybe it was a cold, but within 2 days he could barely breath. So Sunday, we took him to the emergency room because he got worse. Turns out, he had/has bronchitis. Tuesday morning, Tera woke up with the same symptoms, so we took her to her doctor. But she was okay and got better as the day went on. But Wednesday morning, she woke up worse off. Again, thinking it was cold, we kinda waited. But she also just got worse until we took her to the emergency room also. Turns out she has pnemonia. They put her on an antibiotic also. She was doing a whole lot better yesterday. But this morning, she woke up coughing really hard and coughing up a little blood. She we took her back to the emergency room. Got there at 9:30, didn't see a doctor until 11:30. They did an x-ray. She has pnemonia in her upper left lung and right lower lung also. We're to keep her on her antibiotics, obviously. And pumped with fluids and a follow up with her doctor next week, unless she gets worse. Then somewhere in all that mix, I had my 30th birthday. Turning 30 was a littler harder on me than I thought because I feel like I should be turning 19 instead of 30!!
So yeah, I'm hoping things will be calming down this week. Because I could really use some rest!!!!
