Weekly Divination ~ New Growth

Here in the states MANY people are under snow, or at a minimum cold weather. So a note to the warmer days to come...Are there any divinations/predictions that you use with trees that come to bud at a certain time, or when bulbs burst through or bloom etc.

As in the it will be an early spring, hot dry summer etc....

You know, I don't pay enough attention to nature. LOL I always look for robins and crocuses to know that it'll be warming up soon, but that's about it. :)

Where I'm living now the early buds are a indicator of a early (and yummy) fruit harvest. *winks*

Usually I go on smell, if it smells warm and dry in February, chances are good spring is well on the way.

My personal prediction for the valley this year...
Another crazy fire season, coupled with an excellent harvest year.
