My husbands grandfather died just hours ago (in Sand Diego CA), he was 87 and had 2 strokes the past 6 months. His name was Robert Thomas b. 1920 in North Carolina and he was in WWII and a member of the Freemasons. He always used to send us things from Tijuana that he'd try to fix (unsuccesfully) for xmas.

After just loosing my own grandfather in Dec, a great aunt last week, now his grandfather too and I have another great aunt I'm waiting to hear about at any moment too. Too many losses for our family right now.

Please keep his family in your thoughts.

Thank you everyone. We found out thismorning that at the funeral he's getting the full 21 gun salute.

We have now found his obituary online. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite, not familiar with that, I'll have to look it up. My husband seems to be doing well with this, I know he will miss his grandfather lots.
