Yes, the eclipse was in Virgo. And you're right - if you have the Sun, Moon or rising especially in Virgo you'll probably have felt it.
I like to think of eclipses this way - when a planet (either the Sun or Moon) is eclipsed, its energy is removed for a short time. The planet in question brings awareness to an area of your life (the sign or house it falls in) and gives you the chance to get rid of something you no longer need. The Moon is the unconscious, emotions, and other less material items in our lives. So here, when this part of our lives is eclipsed, we have the chance to see some of the negative patterns or thoughts we carry around and it gives us the chance to decide to get rid of them. Now, this doesn't mean if you didn't think about doing so on the day of the eclipse that you are doomed - the energy of the eclipse can linger for a couple of days. During this waning period of the Moon in fact you'll have the chance to make decisions to benefit from this eclipse before the New Moon on March 18/19th. (also a solar eclipse)

Excuse me for intruding but I am a Virgo with sun rising in Virgo. I got such a charge last night looking at the moon. Goosebumps all over me. And I felt rather electric for some time afterwards.
