Could I have a reading please?

I think I am a little too close to the situation to do my own reading. I want a reading about my friend who has cancer. I want to know what needs to be done. I know that it sounds a little obvious what needs to be done, and a little vague, if that makes sense. Don't worry just see what you get.

Sorry I couldn't get to the reading last night! A "Girlfriend Emergency" showed up on my doorstep shortly after I got home from work. ;)

I've drew 2 cards for you. :D

The suit of swords is typically one of struggles and strife. It's an Air suit and this reading is a double air reading. Both cards show a dismally stormy sky and indicate to me problems to come and change is on the wind.

Situation: 7 of Swords. The sevens are of faith and hope. It is also a card that indicates that you feel you are not getting what you deserve. Being sneaky and deceptive; running away. Not being a part of the group. Evening the odds. Small victories; going it alone. So the road ahead will not be easy. Maybe your friend feels that they are going it alone and no one can truely understand what it is they are going through. Indicating the many things they are keeping bottled up; feeling they can't share their thoughts with others. In this case I would say there is hope, but it seems to be fading. This is one area where you could reassure your friend.

What you can do: King of Swords: Attributes of this king are that you need to be: perceptive, authoritive, institutive, a strong leader, balanced, and faithful. You need to be strong both mentally and emotionally for your friend. You need to stand firm. You need to be their bright light in their seemingly dark world.

Seeing that when the cards are laid side by side, the 7 has his back to the King, I would say their is a bit of mistrust there.....or the bottled up feelings are prominantly displayed. Don't try deminish their feelings and fears, afterall, it's their health and life we are talking about. It comsumes their world. Just keep being that strong pillar for your friend and in the end, they will admire and thank you for it.
