Heh! I printed some of them out & have started working on the Greenman already. I'm doing it in fine Aida & it will be small enough to make into an ornament for next Yule.

Thats was quick! You must have all the materials and be a chilled out cross stitcher ;) Hope it comes on really well and looks great on your mantle next yule ~ looked really cute!

I have a girlfriend that is really crafty, and she's going to help me take a Robin Wood tarot card and convert it to a cross-stitch pattern for me! :D So I'm going to take a couple cards and see if I can't do them up and hang them around my home like pictures! :sunny:

I was thinking the same thing, Dagda. My friend has a program for making knitting patterns. I'm going to see if she can scan one of my cards & convert it for me.
The greenman is looking pretty good so far. Heh! Silver, I have just about any kind of craft material on hand. I'm such a pack rat! :)

These would be really nice stitched up and made into a quilt, too -- maybe on a velvet fabric using waste canvas so all you wind up with is the beautiful designs against the velvet -- make them all up separately and then put them together in a patchwork quilt, with squares showing the backs alternating with squares showing the fronts -- do all the back ones on black velvet and the faces on jewel-tone velvet that sets off the colors in the design -- that would take forever to do, but each square would be packable and portable so it wouldn't be like you were dragging this huge project out every time you worked on it .... And I bet throwing some beads into it would look really great, too! Either do them in 11 count or maybe do them in 14 but add a celtic knotwork border to each one to make them bigger so the whole thing winds up a usable size .... It would make a really fab wall hanging, too!
Well, I know what I'm going to be doing in my (ha!) spare time for the next year or so ....

Now I really like the quilt idea!!! We know a lady who quilts tops that people make. She is the nieghbor and good friend of my in-laws. She is really fast at doing them. Maybe if I could get the top done she could quilt it for me. Of course she might be a little curious about what all the images are!!

I love the quilt idea too! ;) I'm sure I could get something like that done in the next ..... 5 years or so! lol
How about choosing one card and cross-stitching it, then add a boarder and using it as a lay cloth or to wrap your cards in??
Any other ideas out there?? I'd love to hear them!

Dagda, thanks so much for linking us up with the new thread in arts and crafts! Its so inspiring! Are you going to do your table idea? You should, it sounds really cool! :sunny:

Right now, it's the only table I have. Once we get a house, and I get some new furniture.....then I'll do that to my current wooden table! ;)

I wish it were a program! lol My girlfriend is going to enlarge the picture and print it on graph paper. From there, we'll get the cross stitch pattern. (Don't ask me how.....she's the crafty one that way! lol) ;)
