Is it just me, or is anyone else able to sense the coming of spring? I feel the excitment of the plants and trees as they awake once again, plus I hear the happiness in the chirping and the chatter of the creatures near my house. I'm sure other people feel this too. but I figured I'd ask.
I'm pretty excited about the Change of Seasons and I'm ready to shed this old skin.
Who's With Me !?!?!?! _happydanc
Note: I just realized that there are some people here from other hemispheres; What season are you going into now? autumn? correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh yes! Spring is coming in full bloom! We keep airing out the homestead and filling it with fresh air to carry out the old stale air! I love springtime!

I was the other day, last week, when the temps were above freezing..but for all of this week the temps havent' even gotten into the double digits and have been content to linger around 0 F....so yeah, spring is still aways off for right now. Tho i hope it warms up soon...it's almost sugaring season, and the sap won't be flowing if it stays this cold...

It's been spring here for a week or two now - temps in the low 70's during the day, mid 60's at night. Have had the windows open constantly in the apartment. Wonderful stuff.
My nasturtiums have sprouted too, and the dill and basil and parsley! Trees are all greenish as well.
Very springy!

Yeah, I sensed it a little while ago. Even though it's just been warm here in the past week, the trees and wind knew before, and just like anything, if you take the time to listen, they'll tell you. plus there's a different smell to the air that comes along when spring is on it's way.

I'm loving the early spring. Longer days, warmth and sunshine, birdsong in the morning and Cherry Blossom everywhere. :)

oh yah I have noticed it. We just got more snow here but the sun has ben out and the air has the spring feel even if it's bitter cold out. I can feel that in a month time I will be walking through mush that is melting Ice and snow. I cant see spring yet but I can feel it for sure.

I know what you mean. I'm from the North East, and we were hammered with a lot of snow in February. Finally, it's starting to warm up a bit. I can see buds forming on the trees too - that always gets me excited for spring. I miss the green!

I can't wait for spring. I can already feel it in the air. I'm in New Jersey and right now the temperature is in the 50s. Spring is almost here.

I can defintely feel spring! There's a long row of daffodils outside the front of my house and flowers just everywhere I look these days! Plus, it's been soooo nice and sunny recently! I absolutely adore spring (as you can probably tell from my sig).

Spring is totally on its way! I am so happy for it too, I am so sick of slushing around in the cold and wet snow. I can't wait to see all of the world being green and lush again, and thunderstorms! They are so beautiful! Finally in the Midwest its getting warmer again, we just a 50 degree day yesterday and I was so happy.
Spring is definitly on its way.
blessed be~

These last few weeks have been the first time our yard has been snow-free since December. I'm really looking forward to waking up and getting off of work when there's still daylight-- the only thing I had about winter is the darkness.

Spring is being awful slow about starting around here, but it's finally warming up a bit, the past few days. It rained, actually rained, for the first time in a very long time last Friday! We still have a lot of snow on the ground from that 16 inches we got a couple weeks back, but it's melting at a fair rate. I've been doing walks in the Arboretum again, and I can tell my plants are enjoying the weather as well; new buds are coming up even on the inside plants!
Yay, I need this so bad! :hahugh:

It's still very much winter here in Newfoundland.
We still have feet upon feet of snow. We probably won't see all the know gone 'til May... ugh.
