This is Toopid. The name is short for "Too Stupid" as when he was still a kitten he entertained himself for hours running head-first into walls. He just really liked it. When we had found homes for all his siblings, my ex-wife and I just looked at each other and said "He's just too stupid for the big world," and we decided to keep him for ourselves. He's been with me for 13 years now. He's a 24 lb Mainecoon cat.

This is Hobbit. She was a rescued cat from an abusive environment where she was kept in a basement with 7 other cats, and they occasionally got a handfull of food thrown down for them to fight over. She was 6 lbs when I got her, and I could literally count her ribs just by looking at her. She is now a healthy and happy 13 1/2 lbs. She's been with me for 6 years.
