I recently took a break from my tarot cards. Subconsciously, I think it was because I felt blocked and really just needed a new perspective. Finally, after a while, I took up two of my decks just to look at them tonight. I had what I felt was a major breakthrough for me. For a while now, I felt like I was staying at the same place. But today, I stopped looking for what I though I was suppose to see, and I just looked at my decks for what they were.

I placed my Archeon deck by Timothy Lantz on my bed and just looked at it. I let myself focus out and just try to see the energies of my deck. To my surprise, I was actually able to just let myself see my deck's energy. I saw an upside down cone of light that expanded upwards and opened up. I saw swirling energies around it, mostly whitish-golden colors, some darker. I saw the whole deck was surrounded by a circle say nine feet all around. I realized tarot decks (if charged correctly) should uphold their own sacred circle.

Next, I placed my Mermaid deck by By Mauro De Luca & Pietro Alligo on my bed and let myself focus out on it. I instantly connected to the deck's energy. I felt a cool sensation go over me, the kind of feeling I get when I feel connected to the Moon. I saw swirling whitish-blue energy going clockwise around my deck (also in a sort of upside down cone formation) I saw little white lights of spirits fly all around me and my deck. I felt the same 9 foot circle around this deck as well.

This was a really amazing experience for me, and I just wanted to share. Anyone else else know what I'm talking about? lol Or what do you guys think about this?

That sounds like an awesome experience, rawrTigress. I can't say I've felt anything as intense as that - but connection and security, I can definitely relate to. No real visualisation like that, just feelings. I know when my deck is working and happy, and when it is not.

To digress, I'm getting the Archeon deck soon! I'm looking forward to meditating with it, it's one of those decks that lends itself to such things, I think.

I completely know what you mean by knowing when your deck is happy or not. My Faeries' Oracle by Brian Froud won't arch right if they are unhappy.

I have been completely satisfied with the Archeon deck. It is a very straightforward deck. Please do tell me how it goes with your first readings and all. <3

Wow. I really wish that sometimes I could pierce the veil in that way, that I could relax my mind down to the wavelengths required to see things in that way. I did have what I felt might have been a wave of kundalini energy go through me earlier on this week, but although it broke down some barriers, it kind of dissipated again thanks to yet another major "stall" in my psychic engine. It just happened spontaneously and I can't recapture it when I need the boost now! Oh well.

I have however read that the Archeon has a mind of its own sometimes (part of why I bought it in the first place); the Morgan-Greer is another very powerful deck that has similar energies, particularly when I shuffle it, I find it often throws the cards about rather than waiting for me to lay them, and several spreads I have had to note down and clear up because the resonance was just ...bad.

Interesting, I'm going to be learning about kundalini stuff soon in my Mysticism and Meditation class.

I got it just the other day!

Going through it the first time, I was worried that the abstract images would be a little too different (but I had this thought before so I was willing to do the work when I chose it) but upon reading the artist's thoughts behind each card, I can see how clear the connections are, and I completely love it! The images are beautiful, they remind me of the artwork in some of the Sandman comics by Gaiman, which is something I adore. Very evocative deck, I'm looking forward to using it.

Thats awesome! I'm glad you seem to like it so far. ^-^ The Art of the decks is really important for me, and the Archeon deck surpasses all expectations.
