Ok. i was going to post this in staff, but this is more appropriate I think. Anyway, I am looking for a moderator for this forum.

Requirements: A firm grasp on the old Celtic ways and myths.

What do you have to do: Just come and participate on the board and watch your forum. Answer questions and start meaningful conversations that people can learn from...including yourself!

Most of all: Have a good time.

Blessings!

Hi!
I'm not Verbana but I am going to introduce myself. I'm Ariannon. I am co-moderator of this forum with Verbana. I'm here to keep things going while Verbana does her studies. I'm new to the board but have read quite a bit of it. You will see that I've already entered my 2 cents worth here and there! As for my background...My path is of the Avalonian Tradition. I've been on this path for the last 10 years. During these years I've studied everything and everything Celtic to supplement my knowledge of Avalon. I was dedicated to the Goddess Arianrhod on Beltaine 1999 and thus am her sworn Priestess. (Arianrhod is one of the 5 Avalonian Goddesses.)
Well, onward and away - let's get this board humming and learn about the Celts!

Good grief. Necromancy at its worth. I dont know where Verbena went. We dont even have a Celtic forum anymore. But, we used to...for the first couple of months we were around.

When this forum first began in November of 2000 we used Ikonboard and it was a piece of crap. Kept screwing up dates, etc.

That would be interesting, but mol refuses to start path-specific forums anymore :)

I have always felt like separation would be an injustice. I think it is better that we all mix together in conversation. I know I have learned tons of things because of it. *shrugs*

Hey I'm not saying what I think one way or the other really. It's your forum, not mine :)

Tho, for the sake of argument, would you not have learned the same things if there were path-specific subforums, since each of us would still be able to go into the subforums we want to? (like now, we can all still get in the Druids forum even if we're Kemetic)

Nooooooo! Not the argument!! :p

The only reason the Druid forum is here is because of the shutdown of various Druid Yahoo groups. We provided a haven for them to come to when we first started and it has stuck. :) Twig has seen to that.

I, and I think I am like a lot of people here, wouldnt probably venture into a lot of the 'subforums' if there were any for other Paths. For instance, I probably wouldnt have ever ventured into a Kemetic forum, but since you, Ses, and others have been posting around with input from your particular Paths I have learned a little bit about it.

*sigh*

Quit it! :D
