Rune Reading Swap

How about we all put what we have been learning and discussing to practice and start reading with our runes for eachother, even if they are simple three rune readings to answer a question or give a simple past, present and future reading it should be fun :D

Im up for reading again with my runes, just remember that im a bit rusty with them ;)

Okay - in general, I've met someone and would like some guidance as to whether a relationship will develop. I'm already aware that there is an unusual issue that is beyond anyone's control.

I'll do one for you tonight! My new set is made out of, believe it or not, wooden furniture plugs! that my friend carved for me. They're round and have incredible energy!

Ok the first two I drew together as what is to come very soon!
Eihwaz and Thurisaz

For Eihwaz I immediatley thought that a big transformation, a big change in your own outlook and attitude to life and love in general has been and is coming into play at the moment.
You are feeling allot more stronger where love is concerned, and you feel ready to start a new relationship of trust and love, trust being a big key point to you.
You really want a new relationship, a new love, a partner to share your passion with, your world with, to comfort and be there for as they are for you.
This rune is really good for you and says that whatever you set your goals on you will achieve, you deserve true love and you will achieve that still! Dont worry about time and age, I dont think you are, just be yourself, and your own power and brilliant light will always attract people to you and will bring you love.
It also mean's that there is still a little confusion still to be worked out, maybe with the issues around this relationship and if you really do really like him. I think that the next rune hints at this more too...

As with thurisaz i thought that you should refect on why you like this man and what you really want out of life and love.
You know this is the rune of the giant and stands for a very strong force at work. I think its your inner confusion still being there a little, but as you are so ready, set and sure for new love you may be blocking this a little.
This rune stands for passion, chaos and conflict so these could be in play with your feeling for new love but your conflict over if he is the right one.
Thurisaz is known as a gateway to show you what is real, what you really want and maybe what is hidden in the relationship or in yourself, its a pretty strong rune to put a mirror up and say 'look'. I think again that this is asking you to ask yourself ~ is this man right for you?

The last I drew as an influence rune for the other two ~ to reveal what is at work and what is the key issue in these runes ~
I got Kenaz which you know means an opening, an insight, so I get that you are really going to learn something pretty big very soon, about the relationship or yourself ~ I think its to do with them both and your true feelings to this man and to love in general.
I think these next week's will be a really positive experience in general for you and your own growth but could be a little bit difficult as we always have to wade through the mud to get to what we really want.
Kenaz is a really positive rune of vision, knowledge, creativity, inspiration, and a new life, it is a transforming rune so I know you cant do wrong, its here to tell you that you can create your own reality and love, dont set you sights low but aim for the stars and true love.
Its also another rune of passion so right for you at the moment, but maybe pointing to what Eihwaz and Thurisaz did a little ~ is your passion overriding your true feelings?

You are amazing! All of that makes perfect sense and hits all the nails on their pointy lil heads. That's very encouraging. I have another friend who has incredible sight and is always spewing readings without provocation - she offered information a few days ago that was very similar to your reading!

I did a three rune reading, and the first two correspond to the near future.

The first rune is Othilo, the last rune in the third Aett. The shape of the rune depicts the womb and legs of the goddess standing. It symbolizes the interaction and bond that people have with their land. While Fehu is mobile wealth, Othilo is immobile wealth - wealth that is handed down through the generations within family and cannot be sold or given away. It also represents oneness and your Orlog, the energy that brings everything together and kinship, ancestry, property, family and inheritance. It indicates that your desires manifest according to your intention and that you are becoming wiser, like Odhinn. The polarities of Othilo are that everything is either coming to fruition or can be destroyed like Ragnarok. This rune indicates that you should be careful what you wish for because it will surely come to pass. I see this rune indicating that you are in a time of reflecting upon your roots, values and goals for the future. Your ideas and attitudes are changing and may be completely different from what they were even a year ago. You are re-assessing your life and formulating some very clear goals for the future.

The second rune is Wunjo, the weather vane or tribal banner. Wunjo symbolizes the relationship and interaction of beings descended from the same source. It represents joy, pleasure, hope, kinship, wonder and fellowship. Its joy is compared to the wights - spirits that live in everything, including trees. It indicates joy coming into balance, especially the harmony of two people who make honor and integrity their first consideration, opening the way for individual freedom. As the weather vane, Wunjo represents the way the wind blows and changes direction. You can always turn things around to your advantage. Your power is actualized and you can achieve your goals. Wunjo is a postive rune and indicates much good fortune, joy and reward. I'm getting that this is a wondrous time in your life that is full of joy. You may draw closer to your family. Your relationship should develop and be balanced enough for the two of you to draw much closer together while managing to maintain your individuality at the same time. You will likely work together on common goals and aspirations and will be rewarded in the way you hope to be.

The third rune I drew was Perthro and this is the core issue of the other two runes. Again, this is your Orlog, the energy that controls your fate. It symbolizes birth ;) wisdom, kinship, manifestation, chance and luck. Perthro also represents a dice cup or game piece, indicating the game of life and a person's energies that offset them. This is the idea of cause and effect. By becoming aware of the synchronicities in your life, you can evolve and become more attuned with your energies. Perthro is the rune of time and duration and will help you bring all of your goals and aspirations to fruition as long as you take the necessary steps. Again, this is a rune of balance and I'm getting even more support for you to continue to take a look at what you truly desire for your future and make a clear plan to achieve it. It seems as though if you take the appropriate steps, you simply can't fail!

I love how you describe all the background to the runes aswell as there menaings :sunny: I never realised that Othilo depicts the womb and legs of the goddess but it totally does!
I can totally relate to all three runes and are so looking forward to them coming more into play!! I have been sooo happy recently and can just imagine that this happiness is going to continue for a long long time now :D
You are right, I have totally changed this last year and the onset of motherhood has created some unbeliable new possibilites in my life that i only dreamt of before :D

I also feel your joy and I know that your little family will be all you want it to be.

I wonder if we should open this up to offer readings to the rest of the community? The only thing I'm afraid of is getting more requests than we can handle. I could use the practice, though.
