I dont know, I came back home and there was two of the buggers in the garden, When I went out to see what all the commotion was, there layed my little Slimer..in a gooey mooshed up state, the kljdfgoiunghrvjiofgjklnhgbhjkl damned things grrrrrr

Sorry the little guys gone but the seagulls could of been just scavenging and something else killed it. Usually seagulls will take something as small as a frog, if they killed it, and fly away with it since the flock would fight over it.
Being smooshed doesnt sound like a seagull hunt. They tear everything up.
