Fun Bedtime Blessings

I once came accross a neat little bedtime blessing, or prayer if you prefer, for my kids. I've just recently brought it back to life, but I thought I'd share it here and ask for anyone else who has similar blessings.

It goes:

Now I lay me down to sleep
In her arms my trust will keep
Happy dreams of love and light
See me through this long, dark night.

I totally forget where I found this one...online somewhere. But I like it.

Now I lay me down to rest
I pray that all the world be blessed
Lady Moon and Sister Star watch over me from afar
Mother Earth is always there
And keeps me safe within her care
The Lord of Dreams will dance and sing
And happy dreams to me will bring
And when I wake to greet the day
Brother Sun will light my way

wondefrul, think I might try these with my little girl, she likes things like this, we usually sing Twinkle Twinkle little star and about a thousand other songs before bed, oh and she wants 2 book too. TWO!! the cheek of it LOL:lol:

Ohhh I love them. We have a big long one we say every night but I have always wondered how much it really means to her. I think these are much more her level. Thank you!

I tried it out last night on Toria and she liked it so much we ended up doing it like 3 or 4 times LMAO Thank you so much, I think it is much more on her level than the big long one we were doing.
