Hey everyone,

I have recently stumbeled upom the world of Pagan podcasts through deos-shadow: http://www.deos-shadow.com/ I really enjoy it. Does anyone else know of any other quality pagan podcasts?

I do listen to Pagan podcasts, mostly Peter Paddon's Podcasts (http://www.crookedpath.org/show.html),

I've also listened to Thelma Coast to Coast (http://www.thelemacoasttocoast.com/content.asp?contenttype=Podcasts), which, from the episodes I've listened too, are pretty cool too.

I think I've listened to one of Deos-Shadow's podcasts before, and it seemed kind of cool too.

Glad to know I'm not the only one!.

I like Deo's Shadow a lot, and have been looking for another of comparable quality but have come up short.

I pulled another one off i-tunes spirituality podcasts recently...Pagan Living, I think, and...well the girl kind of rambled for way too long about the movies she had been watching recently, and I lost interest...

Absolutely! My number one, top recommendation for pagan podcasts is The Secrets in Plain Sight (http://secrets.libsyn.com/). Aidan is one smart feller! He is both a Wiccan priest and a Gnostic priest, and it really lends a fantastic perspective to anything he discusses. His topics are fantastic - he talks about pagan issues that really, really need to be discussed, but never are. My own practice had hit a plateau when I bumped into this podcast, and his perspectives really gave me a jumpstart, solving a number of issues that had held me back for years. Go back to the beginning and listen to the whole blinkin' thing!

My second recommendation is From the Edge of the Circle (http://edgeofcircle.libsyn.com/). TommyElf has that friendly-fun-to-listen-to style that makes you keep listening, and he has some great things to say.

I've listened to several. I do like Deos (http://www.deos-shadow.com/), but Secrets in plain sight (http://secrets.libsyn.com/) and from the edge of the circle (http://edgeofcircle.libsyn.com/) make my skin crawl. They do offer some pretty good information and commentary, but they are HEAVY on the pagans in the military thing and spend a great deal of time talking about it. I just can't get past the fact that Aidan's voice sounds like an 8th grade science teacher's film. And really, I have to fast forward the first 15 minutes of his cast to get past the pentacle on the tombstone information updates. But I will give him credit in that he does have some nice information to think about.

There is also another I don't care for, oh what was it called...oh..the crooked path (http://www.crookedpath.org/default.asp) . It's a British trad cast and the guy is just arrogant as all get out. He bothered me right off, but I figured I was only reacting to what I perceived as a stuffy accent. But no, he's arrogant.

I do like the ATC (http://aquatabch.blogspot.com/) cast, Jeff is well spoken and usually relevant for the noob (and sometimes not noob) wiccan. It's a very nice listen if you feel the need to get back to basics, or go further in depth with certain topics. However it is pretty specific to the Seattle area as he discusses a lot of functions at his church. But he is trying to reach out across the country.

Its basically series of episodes you can download in mp3 format dealing with pagan issues etc... Podcasts are really cool and there are tons of them out there on all sorts of subjects. One good site to look for them is podcastalley.com. You can download them directly from the individual podacast websites (deo's-shadow is found at http://www.deos-shadow.com/) and listen to them on your mp3 player like winamp etc... or you can download a podcast receiver like itunes and subscribe to them, in this way you will automatically be notified when new episodes are posted.

There are a few other threads with links around here if you do a search, just in case you're interested in finding more. I listen to Shadowdance sometimes - http://www.shadowdancepodcast.com/ - as they cover a wide range of occult topics in a very intelligent and thoughtful way. I have a small attention span so I tend not to enjoy those podcasts that are mainly chatting/not deep discussion, since I just find my mind wanders if I try to listen to them.
