Last night I dreampt the following, I want to interpert it, can you guys help me out?

My little sister and I were trying to get home, it was Summer time and there was fair going on with elderly people selling perservatives and things of that nature. The town was the town I live in now, but it was a bit different. To get home, my sister and I had to walk across the river, it was shallow so it was walkable. As we began to wade, we saw a mother bear with her two cubs with her. We admired her at first, then the bear caught our eyes. She started to move toward us and we ran through the water to get back to the land. I dropped my iPod so I reached down and retrieved it, and kept running. Cally, my sister, ran around the fair, and I ran into it. The bear was right on my trail and I ran onto a platform, hoping to get away from the bear. The bear pounded her way to get to me and she rose and let out a tremndous growl with her paws up. I grasped her paws as they tried to swipe at me and I screamedfor someone to help. An elderly man approached the bear sneakingly and stabbed it in the chest from beneath. The bear fell to her death and I bawled because I was still scared and happy at the same time....

So that was pretty intense. It wasn't hazy, it happened like a movie! It was really crazy and I want to know what the Bear spirit wants to say to me, if anything.

Help me interpert this,
Autumn

my first advice is to check bears out as totems, Bear happens to be my shadow totem as if has often attacked me in dreams in the past. On a dream level though bears often speak of inner-knowing, intuition, fierce mother love, and in this case the bear may represent your fears. You mentioned your sister with you. are you fiercely protective of your sister just like the bear would be of her cubs? Perhaps the man represented an older wiser more aggressive part of you, a way to help you help yourself, since bears also represent strength. To kill or conquer a "foe" in your dream often represents victory, or adversely overreacting to a situation. Do you trust your instincts? Or overreact automatically. Hope this helped a little bit.

Thank you for your help with this, I really appericate it. (I had another crazy dream last night!) I checked my Animal Magick book by Conway yesterday and it said that bears are for paitence.

My sister and I are JUST now starting to get along shes 4 years younger than I, and she is my only sister. I do trust my instincts and gut feelings when they occur, and I usually remain safe and secure when I do what they say. I felt bad that the bear had to be killed, :(.
