Because lessons can seem overwhelming etc...we will do check-ins to help

So here is where we approximately should be:

Getting up an hour early/do something we love/spend 10 mins Looking Over Our Day
Writing things in down on our To-Do Lists
Writing things down in our calendars
Following our routines
De-cluttering something at least once a week

Wow I feel so off track. I am sure that's normal when one is moving, but still I feel bad about it. I have been adapting some of the lists for moving. Instead of to-do it was "what to I need to cram in my back pack to make the new place hospitable to humans" and "what to I need to buy to achieve this". (The new place was covered in a visible film of dust and pigeons have taken over the balcony. But I'm almost there! I just have to finish the kitchen and balcony and I'm done cleaning)

As for the extra hour, an extra twenty minutes feels like a luxury today. The boys are coming over at 10:30 to move the first 2 loads of boxes today and I have to get them out of the closet, finagle the extra mattress out from under the bed (so we can have someplace to relax in the new place) and find sometime to get to Canadian Tire to find something that I can clean the wood floors with without stripping the wax (if anyone knows a product or even recipe for the love of all that is cute and fluffy please PM me) and since my husband now wants something fancy on the walls of the living room ('cause you know painting the living room blood red and bright orange is so boring 0.o) I want to take some time to track down the Debbie Travis painting book.

Wow, that was long, but I really needed to rant. :)

My stuff at the new place has be de-cluttered and organized, does that count? 8O

Okay, so I'm a little off track. I have yet to master getting up early even a little over the past week.

The rest seems to be going okay, although, I think I'm going to have to print of the daily routine I made, just to keep organised and on track.

Okay, this is where I'm at...and might I add that I'm feeling a little bit o' pride in myself

The getting up an hour early is still a work in progress, but I will not give up on it. I think a big part of the getting up problem starts with the falling asleep problem. Does anyone have a good suggestion for getting to sleep fast...without medication. Addendum: 04/04/07 got out of bed at 7:25 today! Had enough time to go buy pantyhose and breakfast/lunch (nice fresh fruits and veggies) on my way to work
My to-do list is coming along nicely; adding to it on a regular basis, checking off items as they are completed.
The calendar is very bright and colourful. We have a large two-month-at-a-glance calendar that hangs on the wall near the kitchen. Everyone has their own colour marker and everyone's schedules are written in on a monthly basis. I just updated it for April/May this morning.
Daily/weekly routines are developing as we go; it takes some getting used to but I think the family is buying into the benefits of the routines
De-clutter project #1 is well underway - see bonus lesson thread for details
