Bad Omen?

When I decided to bring out my runes the other day, I was horrified to find 5 or 6 of them, which I hadn't used in months, had snapped in half (it must have happened in the move or something). I mean, they're made of small pieces of slate, so they're not exactly hard to break, but should I be paying attention to the ones which were broken? Could they be a bad omen for the areas they're associated with?

Hmm... which ones broke? I'd venture to say, though, that it has to do with what your Runes were made of...

I know, I'd be a lot more bothered about this if they were made of a harder rock. I've collected some more slate to replace the one's that broke (I made them myself in the first place anyway) so I'll be able to begin casting again soon.
The ones that broke were Kenaz, Laguz and Sowulo (there are a lot less broken than I thought there were! :p)

Let's see... Kenaz- knowledge, inspiritation; Laguz- emotions, magical self; Sowulo- The Source, spiritual fire...

Draw anything from these? If not, then just a coincidence, I'd say...

Laguz and Kenaz, maybe, but not Sowulo...my spiritual fire's been quite sparky recently :D

Id say that this is a message in these so maybe you look these runes up and see if there are any other menaings that would fit for you.
I know that Sowelu came up in the reading I just did for you? ;)

Good louck with making the replacements, and try not to worry about them ~ im sure they just broke to get your attention to maybe pay more caree to them as well as the meanings :)
