It would figure. All week long we've had incredibly warm, sunny weather. In the nineties. But it has been so hot and humid, I didn't want to add any extra labor to my schedule. So today, it was a little cooler, I decided to handwash my dresses, and hang them out on the line to dry. And of course, ten minutes later, the sky get's all dark and cloudy, and the wind picks up, and it looks like we're in for a hell of a T-storm.
I considered taking them in, and hanging them strategically around the apartment, aiming fans on them. But then started thinking.."Oh Hell...maybe i'll just let the rain wash them a second time, and the sun dry them tomorrow. If the wind REALLY starts kicking, i'll take them in so they don't blow away...
Maybe I'm just lazy.
Anyone else ever let the Rain wash their clothes a second time?

Isn't that part of Murphy's Law?
Yes, I have let the rain wash my clothes a second time, many times! :) You are not alone!

well since I dont wear dresses, then no.:(
But, rainwater is good(in most places) but you will have to iron
or do something after they dry with rain on them...cause it will
make pleats....
unless you get a good amount of wind when the rain is over.:D

Sometimes I start the laundry even after the rain starts. :)

I've done that...not intentionally, though. Most of the time, I forgot I left the laundry out. By the time I realized it, I didn't want to run out & get soaked too. It's usually just a quick shower & then the sun comes out to dry everything! :p

Some people don't like the rain... I don't get it... it's just water... Mad likes water :D It's peaceful!

When I visit my relitaves in Ontario, we sometimes forget to take the laundry off the clothesline....And so they just sit there and soak up all the nice rainwater.. :) I love that smell...

Cool...was wondering if people would think me crazy. LOL. I let them get soaked, and dry again, in the rain, and then, I went down to take them off the line this morning, they were dry, and smelled so fresh.
I love the smell of the earth after a good soak. And some of that scent got pressed into the fabric :) Nature's own perfume!

Can't do that here. It doesn't rain that much, and when it does, it probably brings some of the smog down with it.
Smoggy clothes
