My father passed away

I have been away from MW for a few months now as I have been spending as much time with my family as I could over the past 5 months.

My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer in October 2006 and passed away on March 18th of this year. Just two and a half weeks ago.

My family is very close and this has been so hard on my mom, sister and I. I have always been a daddy's girl and I feel as though my heart has been ripped from my chest because I miss him so much. It still feels like he will drop by my work to take me to lunch, or come by the house when running errands but I know this will never happen again.

Dad has passed into the Summerland and is now in the arms of the beautiful Goddess, but if anyone could spare a bit of extra energy for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I feel like i'm am just completely worn out and exhausted both mentally and physically.

Thanks to all who are willing and able to lend that extra bit of energy. :)

I am so sorry for your loss. My father died Mother's Day 2004. My world hasn't been the same since. The pain never completely goes away. For me, it has just receded to a dull ache that sometimes comes upon me full force unawares.

So sorry for your loss. When you are ready, you will feel his energy inplaces when he comes back to check on you. Then, when he knows you are OK, He will move on. I am sitting at my Dad's computer desk(he was 85 and still doing better on his than I could on mine). He passed in Sept when I was still In CT. But the last time I saw himbefore I had to go back, he said he would see me "next time around." I miss him, and I think I always will. Give your self a bit of time to release the energy and time and pain. Do a lot of grounding and centering.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my dad almost 4 years ago to 3 different types of cancer. It was, and still is, the hardest thing that I have ever gone through. I, like you, was daddy's little girl. I had someone tell me, that he would stop at their convience store and buy jellybeans and that the flavors that he didn't like, he would toss them out the window of his truck. Everytime I pass wild flowers along the side of the road, I think of him. All of the different colors remind me of the jellybean story and it puts a big smile on my face. Missing him will never go away and neither will the memories and love. He is with you and surrounding you with his love, take comfort in it. Comforting energy to you.
