View Full Version : Can't be lost if I never had it

I can say with certainty that I have never ever been in love. People say I'm kind, but that must not be enough. What if I'm not meant to be loved or fall for someone else I can have, Gods know I've fallen more than once. What if I unredeemable, unworthy. I'm 25 and I've never more than kissed a girl in my whole life. It breaks my heart everyday that so many find love, but not me.

:hugz: Nobody is unworthy of love, nobody. I donīt know the specifics of your situation but you keep on trying. If you go around thinking you are not worthy of love no one will have the chance to even try reaching out to you. You build up a invisible wall that keeps people from aproching you. Donīt give up!

Yeah that shit pisses me off too. I constantly fall for women that are completely WRONG for me, and the ones that would be good I find boring...

Never give up - you don't know what may be around the corner.
I am sure that there are many women who would love to be with you. Just keep on being your kind self and I am sure that love will follow. Remember it does bloom in the most unexpected places.
Sending you lots of positive energies.

Don't look, just let it happen.
Sometimes the best things in life knock you upside the head when you are looking the other way. ;)

Give it time. You're still young. And don't forget, everything happens for a reason. You could be divorced and having all your money sucked off in alimony and child support right now.

I think the advice given is good advice. Having said that I myself believe I have had and lost my chance at it, so I do kinda know how you feel. If you ever want to talk feel free to PM me. :hugz:

Everyone is worthy of love. Some people find it later in life than others. A friend of mine is your age and he has been in his first serious relationship for about a year now. Before that his only girlfriend, ever, was a girl he dated for about a month and presently doesn't even consider a real girlfriend. And I'm completely skeptical that his current gf is his "true love" either though that could just be my personal oppinion clouding my judgement /cough. Point is that you're not alone and it's better to wait for the real thing than to settle for less because you feel you're supposed to or you don't want to be alone for the rest of your life. The right person will come, you just have to be patient. And praying to your deities of choice can't hurt either. You will be in my thoughts.

I've been there. It takes a while, sometimes a long while. and I know that nothing anyone can say will change the facts. I know a woman that I used to work with- she's almost 45- same situation as you.... She's found a hobby and a passion in her religion (christianity, of course) and seems content EXCEPT for that one missing piece- just like you. And let me tell yha- having that one special person- doesn't make it all better either. I have a husband and a family and let me tell you, heart to heart- most people with kids say that thier kids and spouse is all that keeps them going- not true in my case. I'm not saying I don't love my kids or don't want them or any buisness like that- Its just that at a very young age, I've found my place in the world, I've found what I love, live for, and I'm very passionate about it. I tend to be a bit of a free spirit when it comes to my passion and my family thinks I'm a bit of a sore thumb and thats fine with me. When I'm doing rescue, adopting out animals, helping people find homes for the animals they can't care for, making sure they have food and a nice warm spot to cozy up to at night makes me happy. My kids came before the rescue took off and my kids didn't fill that empty spot for me. I thought they would and they did for a while, but then I wanted more- now the rescue has taken off and all I want now is to go make some salads and thaw out some rodents. I love it.
what I'm saying is:
I know the feeling of being empty and missing that one special thing that would just really 'do it' for you. If you keep looking, you will find it!!!
Best of luck!

It's ironic, but love finds you when you stop looking and look inside yourself instead.
