I've got a question for y'all, and I feel like it's pretty legitimate. I have dreams. Sometimes I think they mean stuff. Most of the time, they probably don't. I've had dreams which seem terribly important and meaningful and stick with me the whole day, which I spend trying to work out what it could mean that I never made it across the bridge before I woke up... until someone reminds me about the pepperoni I snacked on before bed. I'm pretty good at interpreting dreams that don't have digestive origins, but it takes my knowledge of myself, my feelings about certain symbols, and other various things to really work out what on earth this dream could be telling me - and usually it's no bigger than "you have too much stress and need to relax", or "perhaps you really don't want to take that class next semester".
What I want to know is: Do any of you claim to be able to interpret the dreams of others? How do you claim to do this? How is it possible to know what is important to the person and not risk telling them something ridiculous without being in their head entirely?
For those of you who ask other people for dream help: Why do you go to someone else? Why don't you just try it on your own?
I'm just curious, that's all. Thanks for your answers.
