My name's Josh, and I'm still pretty new to the pagan perspective. I find I learn better from other pagans than from books, so I've come here to see what I can glean. Entirely too much of my experience with pagans involves know-it-alls and elitists without much to offer in the way of guidance, sadly, so I'm hoping to find a warmer crowd here. :)

I'm also badly in need of some local friends who are of like mind, so anyone in the North Atlanta area who wants to hang out, give me a buzz! I don't bite, unless you ask VERY nicely. :hahugh:

And you don't know how long I've been saying the same thing to other pagans, especially the new kids, about learning the old ways, from the ones who LEARNED it the Old Way!!! Makes sense, does it not?

Been sqwaking about that for over 20 years now.

Well, a warm welcome to you, love. I hope you find what you're looking for here. Just like books and teachers, and forums, there's good ones, and there's bad ones. Luckily, you stumbled on one of the better ones.

Remember, there's over 15+thousand members here, from ALL different paths, so keep that in mind, when you get into an arguement with someone. Don't let it get too heated, or you'll get reffed. Best to take it to PM...;)

Well hello Josh,
There are several ways to locate local Pagans to hang out with, including guys and girls your age. I talk about this on my website FAQ Question 22, near the bottom, at http://www.blue-moon-manor.com/faq.html. In short, CUUPS is a Wicca group that meet at many Unitarian churches. Link in FAQ. But also click on the link "Coven Locator" which will take you to Witches' Voice website. There you can find Adult Groups, Family Groups. College Groups, and Teen Groups listed by US state, and Nation!!!
