I love the smell of farm. The smell of fresh hay, the barn, the goats, the pony.
It all says farm....:ballonsmi

Every evening I go out and feed and water all the critters. I tuck them in for the night and pass around kisses.

Well last night was a tad different.

The barn, inside, had a new smell...whats black with a white stripe? LOL
Yup, a skunk went to visit the critters, probably looking for food.
Well It was quite obvious the skunk cut loose, but where exactly, it was hard to say.

I went and passed around the good night kisses and when I came to the pony I found out where the skunk had sprayed! Our poor pony. It was so strong it even knocked me back and I like the smell of skunk!!!

Needless to say, our pony will be wearing a new perfume for awhile as its to cold to bath him. 'Skunkasquirt de parfume'!!:)

Well Amber the pony is smelling less potent. :)
The aroma now is fine. But then again I like skunk smell.
None of the other critters seems to mind and Amber doesnt seem to think she smells bad, so all are happy. :)

But my SO doesnt like skunk smell and thinks they all still smell skunky. He hasn't gotten close to Amber to see just how the potency of her aroma is doing. LOL

Over all the barn and surrounding areas too still say skunk, but not so strong. :)

Oh dear Goddess! Poor pony, poor you, poor barn! Hopefully it will be warm enough soon to de-skunk everything!!
