Hi everyone ;)
I have been eyeing this deck for awhile because of the gorgeous artwork. Anyone have it?

Yep, I've got it! And while I think it is truly beautiful, there's nothing new or exciting here. I was a tad disappointed. :) I was expecting more "life" on the faces of the characters in the cards, and for me it just isn't there. The style is very pretty, the colors are very nice, it sticks so closely to the original RWS as to maybe even be called a clone, but for me the faces are all just wooden.

If you're not looking for anything really different, then this deck might be perfect. Others rave about it. It just isn't really doing too much for me @ the moment. Perhaps I'll go back to it in a month or so and see how I feel then.

Hi Lisa!!!! Long time, no chat! Thanks for the review...that happens to me also...I'm a sucker for the artwork but then the deck is not really very exciting for reading with. I just love the artwork in the Wicca deck though (same artist right?) so I'll prob still pick it up:hahugh:

Yep, same artist. I like the Wicca cards better for some reason though, maybe because there are fewer actual people.

Well, at least now you kind of have an idea of what they are like, so you most likely won't be disappointed when you get them.

And yes, long time! We miss you around here! :)

I just wanted to re-open this thread because hubby bought me the Fenestra for Mommy's Day, and although I have only looked through it, I love it already. but yes, I see what you mean Lisa about the blank faces...and I'm not really loving the brown, but it works with the artwork
