Dilemna.... help....

It was my birthday a few days ago and two of my friends (whom I have a complicated relationship with ie ex and his new girlfriend) bought me a beautiful penticle necklace- the only problem is it's upside down.:razz:
Because of the problems I have with them I didn't want to refuse it so I smiled and accepted it. But I was wondering is it ok to wear it knowing that it was bought in good faith and that I know what it really means or should I put it away and forget about it???

or why not take the cord off and turn the right way up

incidentally, some wiccan traditions use the inverted pentagram to represent another level of initiation, attained. So it's really all about how it makes YOU feel, whether or not to wear it. But..as you said, you could always take the cord off, and turn it right side up.

Would it be possible to just have it changed?

Or just buy a new cord, and find a way to affix it right side up.. by weaving the cord in and out of the points, with both of them emerging from the top... like a double slipknot. you'll figure out something..

Thanks guys. I have already tried turning it the right way up. Doesn't work. But as long as it isn't evil etc I don't mind wearing it. I know that it was bought because they care for me and they are trying to support me.
