How to find someone magikally?

I have an issue...
My mum recieved a card today that was not exactly the nicest card in the world but then again it is hard to tell.
The person went out and bought a decent card @ a reasonable price and wrote wierd stuff in it that had some honest merit...
The card and hand writing had a familiarity to it and emmitted a confused energy... The person wasn't exactly sure of my mothers name... eg. georgina, george, georgie... but made reference to family matters that had nothing to do with anything... the card just confused the hell out of us...
Does anyone know of any Magikal ways of finding out who it is?
