The chicks, ducklings and keet came in today!!!
I just love spring. Its chick time and lambing season and calving season and babies everywhere season . LOL
Here are the new arrivals.

And we are still waiting on 2 ewe lambs. They're on the livestock conservation list for endangered species. I cant wait till its time to bring them home. Their not weaned yet so we have to wait. We are getting Jacob sheep and Leicester Longwool. They are both on the threatened list.

When they are bigger and dont need to be under heat lamps I'll get pics of the endangered species, And anyove else thats wants to be cute for the camera. :boing:

I hope not. They are the breeding stock of the future eating stock, except if I have extra males. I don't need fighting to break out so extra males will have to go and some breeds I got I could only get straight run. :(

Eggs too..ducks eggs and chicken I like. :)

Oh I almost forgot, some are for my daughter's breeding program for show birds. That's one reason we got the rare species and we have a few bantams in there too. :)

My minds, or should I say stomach, is on the Runner ducks and Cochin Chickens for my food stock breeding program. But yes these birds are intended for breeders not dinner. :)

That's what we don't know, 4H. The run who runs it in my county is the same person responsible with claiming to be rescuing the horse, when she was actually boarding it, and then giving it her to us, illegally. Oh Shima is still at her original owners. They have turned her out to pasture.

So since this person is the head honcho for the county I don't know how my daughter can be in 4H without this person being around, since we all live in the same township too.

There's other associations, non 4H, and fairs and stuff around we are looking into.
So if we find something that way, I'll be happy and so will my daughter.
We're not interested in the club thing ( meetings, the togetherness bull) either, just the show aspects of critters.

Ah, I'd be the same way if I had problems with the head hancho. I hope you can find somwthing better to show with. :hugz:
