My friend sent this to me in an email today, it's a part of one of those silly chainletter type deals..ugh. Anyway..i did find this was interesting...is this true? Does anyone know? Has anyone heard this before?

What is the shortest chapter in the

I got that in an e-mail about a year ago. Kinda neat, isn't it? Makes you wonder what else is commonly overlooked in the bible.

Here's my thoughts:

I find that usually that stuff that goes around isn't true. :(

This one is interesting because it doesn't specify which version. Even with the smallest differences, the "center" or "middle" will change. Just because it might be this way in the KJV, doesn't mean it was originally written that way. Plus, that would mean that the council picked exactly the right number of books to include in the Bible to make it come out that way. Which also means that if they were planning something trite like that, then they weren't giving careful consideration to which material they were including. I could go on.

So, while I agree there is tons of stuff in there that is overlooked, if it is true, it can't really mean anything and I'm not going to count the chapters to find out. ;)
