The nominations are now open!

We are currently looking for two Guides for Paths: Slavic & Baltic Paganism.

Just a reminder for those who weren't around when the first round of nominations came about:

Guides are not moderators. However, the Guides will have certain powers so that they may now move, stick and close threads on their own. Guides also encourage activity in the forum, whether by introducing new topics, starting games, etc. :)

There will be no vote afterwards. When the nominations close, I will take the nominees to the other admins and we will discuss who we think will be a good guide for each forum.

The rules:

1. Nominate two members who you think will make good guides and will have fun at it! We don't want to think of this as work. ;)

2. If you are nominated and don't want the position, you can always decline.

3. No admins. :p

I will leave the nomination thread open for two weeks. After the admins have done all their discussing and have chosen Guides, I will come back and make an announcement.

Have fun!

Since there haven't been any nominations as of yet, I'll be leaving this open as long as necessary to gain at least 2 nominees. :)

Um.

I researched Slavic deities and paths about 1 1/2 years ago when I was looking into my ancestral path options. It's still an interest of mine (I've been reading about Baba Yaga lately, for example) but not many people known enough to discuss it.

I do know enough to help out here (I'm pretty sure)--if it's needed. Seeing as it's not a high traffic area, I can manage this and my other forums. :) I have tired to help out with this section though, making the Slavic Paganism Links (http://www.mysticwicks.com/showthread.php?t=143934) thread and stuff.

I've got some experience with Slavic/Baltic paganism through my own reading. I could help Agaliha out.

Sounds good to me :)
What do you think Flaire?

I nominate Agaliha and SilverSeraphim to be forumguides for this forum. I mean I think Agaliha, being the Gods and Goddesses forum guide will have ample opportunity and insight to start posting more and more info on Gods of the Slav and Baltic peoples :).

Cool. You're welcome :)

There was something I wanted to bring up about this forum, but it's better suited for a PM. :2G:

I was going to sticky this thread Baltic Pagan Links (http://www.mysticwicks.com/showthread.php?p=3115983#post3115983), but I don't have any guiding powers here yet... could you please sticky it? Thanks!

Anything I can do to help, I would be more than happy! It is very cool to know that I am not the ONLY one here who does research on the Slavic mythology!
